The F.O. Macintosh blade by Luxamed uses an integrated light guide with 8.000 fibres for maximal brightness. It also has long service life. The 3.7 V LED version offers a brightness of approximately 14.000 Lux, while the 2.5 V xenon variant reaches circa 6.500 Lux. The stainless steel blade is compatible with all Luxamed handles in accordance with ISO 7376 (green standard). It is autoclavable up to 134 Degrees Celsius – for approximately 4.000 times. The Macintosh blade is available in several different sizes.
