Personal adviceThe osteoporosis vertebra model, 3 vertebrae by Erler Zimmer, consists of three lumbar vertebrae with intervertebral discs, medially sectioned for an optimal view of the bone structure.
The medial cut allows for optimal studies of the bone structure of the different vertebrae. The first vertebra has a healthy bone structure, the middle vertebra shows first signs of osteoporosis, while the lower vertebra is highly osteoporotic with dented top- and bottom-plate – the so-called Fish Vertebra.
The vertebra are life-size models and can be taken down from the stand separately.
